Workplace Accidents
First AidHave your injuries seen to by the workplace First Aid Officer immediately. If in the opinion of the First Aid Officer (or your own opinion) you require medical attention, then you should immediately arrange to a see a medical practitioner. Reporting an InjuryAdvise your workplace Supervisor and your Recruitment Consultant of your injury, giving your name, address, the date and cause of the injury. Where possible, do this prior to leaving the workplace. When visiting a medical practitioner, advise the staff to send the invoice to us, not the company you are working at. If you seek medical attention you must complete a Workers Compensation Claim form, which is available from our office. If you need time off work as a result of your injury, you must complete a Workers Compensation Claim form and supply our office with a WorkCover Certificate of Capacity from your medical practitioner. Please make sure you fill in both the front and back pages of the form. All documentation must be completed in full, signed and received by our office before any WorkCover payments can be made. Reporting Hazards & Hazardous SituationsPlease report all hazards or hazardous situations to your Host Employer Supervisor. If matters are not resolved, please contact your Recruitment Consultant immediately for further advice.
