Key Duties:
Grounding Strategy - carryover and new programs
Fusing Strategy - carryover and new programs
Prototype Build - Breadboard and Vehicle Build - Applying diagnostic/troubleshooting process
Data sheet/Device Transmittal's - support and approve.
Requirements and Design Rules - Tests required, design verification and report sign-off.
Power at all-time assessment (PAAT Assessment)
Design management of Electrical/Electronic System architecture,
Developing electrical schematics to new programs.
Feature/Function implementation and coordination
Technical leadership of assigned Electrical/Electronic systems
Technical support for EOL configuration and diagnosis electrical and electronic systems
Technical design review with core team

Skills Required:
Detailed knowledge of Ford CGEA and PSF codes.
Detailed knowledge about Ford test requirements and procedures.
Knowledge in GPDS
Experience in Electrical Distribution System (EDS)
Knowledge in grounding strategy and fusing strategy
Good knowledge of global vehicle development procedure
Good knowledge of design principles for vehicle design
Experience with auto program launches.
Previous international launch experience.
Able to work independently without close supervision.
Process driven with experience creating new and aligning processes.
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Skills Preferred:
Familiarity with Ford's automotive model development processes.
Knowledge of CANalyzer and Diagnostic Engineering Tool (DET)
Knowledge with eFDVS, Wers, FEDE, VSEM and Teamcenter.

Experience Required:
Minimum 15 year's experience as an automotive electrical systems engineer.

Education Required:
Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering


Salary Range $80k - $100k
