Our client is a large Public Hospital in need of experienced Medical Receptionists and Clerks to provide administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the overall department.

The roles duties will include:

  • High level of administration and assisting with reception
  • Meet and greet
  • Schedule clinical appointments
  • Schedule meetings for departments
  • Data entry, typing
  • Scanning of documents
  • Filing of patient records and correspondence
  • Assisting department managers

Previous experience required for the role:

  • Demonstrated administrative skills in a large hospital/medical support role
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal skills
  • Experienced typist with audio dictation typing experience
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office, Word and Excel
  • Experience in Powerchart, Cerna, eMR, Genie, Olympus, Schedular or Trim software packages
  • Medical terminology certificate or demonstrated understanding of medical terminology
  • Ability to prioritise and manage competing tasks
