About our client.
Our client is an industry leading provider of asset data capture, asset management and building consultancy services, with a proven track record of excellence for over two decades.
Due to an influx of new projects, we are seeking technical professionals with sound knowledge of building fabrics/materials, mechanical/electrical building services, or demonstrated experience conducting asset data capture projects for buildings.
About the role.
As a Building Auditor, you will be travelling from home to a range of sites across Tasmania, (majority being located in population dense areas) collecting information on the condition of various buildings with tablets, taking photographs, room measurements, 3D image scans, and collecting other data as directed.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identify and record data on the type, location and condition of relevant mechanical/electrical building systems, fixtures and building fabrics (cladding, walls, floor coverings, ceilings).
- Provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring data is upload as directed to minimise risk of data loss.
- Craft highly precise and detailed reports for assessments when required.
- Actively engage with the team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.
- Taking room measurements and sketching basic floorplans.
- Demonstrated experience with inspections/data capture projects across large commercial buildings.
- Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid Australian driver's license, and willingness to travel.
- Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People or the ability to obtain one.
- Exceptional level of attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Proficient with the use and basic troubleshooting of smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
- Professional demeanour and the capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
