Our Engineering consulting client is seeking a experienced Civil Drainage Engineer to join their dynamic Rail team . This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced Consultancy environment, enjoys working autonomously, and brings strong technical expertise to the table.

Key Requirements:

• Proven Drainage Design Engineering experience specific to delivering Rail infrastructure projects in Victoria
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Open Channel Drainage Design
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic assessments using software such as 12D Drainage, Drains, PC Drains, and Windes
• Design and model stormwater, sewer, and subsoil drainage systems
• Develop open channel, culvert, and overland flow path designs in compliance with relevant standards and guidelines
• Prepare and review detailed drainage design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation
• Liaise with civil, structural, environmental, and geotechnical teams to ensure coordinated project outcomes
• Ensure designs meet Victorian local council, state, and national regulatory requirements and standards
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction and delivery phases
• Manage drainage components of projects from concept through to detailed design and delivery
• Identify and mitigate drainage risks and contribute to sustainable water management solutions
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities
