We are working with a well-established food production supplier in Australia. This company has been operating for over fifty years and established a reputable name in the food industry. They are currently looking for a motivated and professional Customer Service Officer to join thier team on a full-time basis. This position will be based in Braeside,Victoria.
About the role
The Customer Service Officer will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, professionalism, and courtesy.
Duties and responsibilities for this role include:
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email. Provide information about prodcts and services to new and existing customers
- Process and monitor customer orders as well as providing updates as needed
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with B2B customers
- Assist with administrative tasks such as email and document network filing, data entry, and management of CRM system
- Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- High school certificate or equivalent Certificate III preferred
- Experience in a similar customer service role, ideally within a fast-paced or B2B environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude
- Industry experience in food, logistics, or FMCG is a plus
