General Manager – Industrial Equipment

Six-figure base + car allowance + relocation support available
A market leader in the industrial vehicle and equipment sector is seeking a commercially astute and operationally focused General Manager
to lead its Queensland operation, based in Yatala.
This pivotal role offers the opportunity to guide a tight-knit team across sales, service, and support functions. With a strong regional presence and reputation, the business services key clients across infrastructure, civil, utilities and environmental sectors, delivering capital equipment solutions, leasing options, spare parts, and exceptional aftersales support.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading daily operations, regional strategy, and team performance
- Managing P&L and driving commercial outcomes
- Maintaining strong relationships with customers across QLD
- Collaborating with national leaders to align operational and strategic objectives
- Supporting field and workshop operations, inventory, and service delivery
- Benefiting from a structured handover with the current GM, who will remain in the business
- Proven leadership experience in a comparable GM, branch, or operations role
- Strong commercial and customer-facing skills
- Background in industrial equipment, heavy vehicles, hire, technical services or civil infrastructure
- Hands-on leadership style, with a focus on team culture and service excellence
- Sound financial acumen and operational oversight
- Trade or engineering background is highly regarded, emphasising your alignment with values of Customer Focus, Safety, Integrity, and Teamwork.
