They currently have an opportunity available for a Maintenance Manager to lead their maintenance capability on site. This role would initially be a casual position with a view to staff for the right person.
Duties include:
- Management of the maintenance team, including external contractors.
- Directing team members and contractors engaged in machinery and building upgrades.
- Inspection of site machinery / equipment for conformance with operational standards.
- Developing, and implementing methods and procedures to improve the operation, minimise cost and labour.
- Conducting training for new staff and improving team performance.
- Management and stakeholder reporting.
Ideally you will have:
- A background in managing maintenance teams in food or FMCG.
- Experience with MEX Maintenance.
- Flexibility to manage issues that arise outside normal hours.
- A Forklift License (Perform High Risk Work License), Confine Space Entry Permit/ticket.
- Familiarity with plant / equipment safety and GMP.
- Advanced computer literacy with MS applications.
- Excellent time management and a high level of motivation.
- Excellent communication, coaching, interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
