This is a contract or casual role to support variable project workloads, ideal for someone who enjoys technical variety and working on cutting-edge pilot plant programs. You'll be working in a highly skilled multidisciplinary team of metallurgists, engineers, chemists and technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, operate and maintain laboratory and pilot-scale metallurgical equipment
- Support setup and commissioning of pilot plant operations
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external contractors
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
What You Bring
- Australian Citizenship is required for this role
- Experience in hands-on work with industrial, chemical or metallurgical plant equipment
- Background in minerals or chemical processing operations
- Mechanical trade, or technician-level training/experience (formal qualification not essential)
- Strong team player with solid communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)
- Experience using databases for sample and equipment tracking is a plus
- Flexible work and project-based engagements
