An established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking a driven and experienced Regional General Manager to lead their growing operations in Papua New Guinea and the Pacific.

About the Role
As Regional General Manager – Pacific Operations, you will lead a diverse portfolio of projects, manage multidisciplinary teams, and be responsible for the commercial success and operational delivery of the region. You’ll be supported by technical leads and collaborate with peers across the business group.

This role is ideal for a strategic leader with a background in civil or structural engineering, who is commercially savvy and thrives in a client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and strategic growth in the PNG and Pacific region
• Oversee delivery of engineering projects in collaboration with project managers and discipline leads
• Manage budgets, resourcing, risk, and performance reporting
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Ensure all work meets technical standards, safety requirements, and quality systems
• Contribute to organisational leadership and culture

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or related engineering discipline
• 15+ years of engineering experience, ideally with regional or remote project delivery exposure
• Experience in leadership roles with a focus on project delivery and client engagement
• RPEQ or IEPNG registration (or eligible to obtain)
• Strong stakeholder management, commercial acumen, and team leadership skills

• Lead meaningful infrastructure and community development projects in a unique region
