All key expansion milestones continue to grow beyond forecast, creating a brilliant opportunity for a Sales Engineer (Mechanical or Mechatronic) to join this highly successful and inclusive organisation.
The Role
The role requires a highly effective person, with superbly developed communication, technical and interpersonal skills. High level communication and liaison abilities are critical to the success of this position, combining attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality solutions to both existing and newly secured clients.
Naturally, constant research and identification of new applications or business opportunities is fundamental to the role. As is responding to constant technological advances and close collaboration with the engineering team, with an end-goal of maintaining high-level product knowledge, education and ultimately preserving customer satisfaction.
Typical daily responsibilities will also include
* Pre and Post sales technical support, troubleshooting and installation commissioning queries
* Preparation of BoM's & estimates and project quotations
* Design of automation solutions and delivering technical presentations
* Maintenance of business development communications, reports and forecasts
The Person
Ideal candidates might have either a Mechanical, Mechatronic or Automation background gained in Building Services, building access/automation industry or similar. Typically combining a project delivery or manufacturing/production background with exposure to SAP or similar ERP software and be conversant with all current Microsoft Office applications and contemporary CAD software.
Essential personal attributes include, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, collaborative work style and resourcefulness when required.
