About the Role
My Client is a growing Structural Design & forensic engineering seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Forensic Engineer / Team Lead to assist in growing a Sydney-based team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Engineer with strong technical expertise looking to step into a leadership role with a blend of technical demands, people management, and client/stakeholder requirements. You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality forensic investigations, leading a team of engineers, and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of forensic engineers on complex structural investigations.
  • Conduct site inspections, damage assessments, and structural failure analysis across residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
  • Prepare high-quality forensic reports for insurance claims, legal matters, and remedial works.
  • Act as a technical expert, providing mentorship and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Liaise with clients including insurers, loss adjusters, legal professionals, and property owners.
  • Support business development activities and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (required).
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status (preferred).
  • Proven forensic engineering experience.
  • Full Australian Driver’s License(required).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing engineering teams and projects.
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
