About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Airfield Pavement Inspector
to join our team in Melbourne on a temporary basis. This role is critical to ensuring the safety, compliance, and longevity of aerodrome pavements through technical inspections and advanced measurement systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of airfield pavements in accordance with CASA and ICAO standards.
- Operate and interpret data from Laser Crack Measurement Systems (LCMS) and other pavement evaluation technologies.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and maintenance recommendations.
- Collaborate with airport operations and engineering teams to ensure timely and effective pavement management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering(or equivalent).
- Proven experience in aerodrome technical inspections and pavement condition assessments.
- Proficiency in using LCMS and other pavement analysis tools.
- Valid ASIC card and eligibility to work airside.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with airport operations and regulatory frameworks.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspection schedules.
