What you’ll be doing:
- Undertake the extraction and analysis of trace level veterinary analytes in animal tissue.
- Operate, troubleshoot and maintain advanced analytical instrumentation, including LC/MS/MS and GC/MS.
- Process and validate data ensuring compliance with QA/QC standards in a NATA-accredited environment.
- Work with a highly skilled and supportive team, with opportunities to broaden your technical expertise..
- A tertiary qualification in Chemistry (or equivalent scientific discipline) with relevant experience with a commercial laboratory.
- Strong knowledge and experience analysing organic samples using LC/MS/MS and GC/MS instrumentation including maintenance and trouble-shooting.
- Proven ability to work within a NATA-accredited laboratory environment and adherence to Quality Management System ISO9000/17025/17034.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
- A collaborative approach, with the initiative and judgement to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Australian Citizenship at time of application.
- Must be able to pass and maintain a baseline security clearance.
