Due to an influx of new projects, we are seeking technical professionals with strong knowledge of building fabrics, fit out and defects to conduct condition assessment on existing buildings all across Victoria.

About the role.
As a Building Assessor, you will travel to a range of sites collecting data using tablets, 3D imaging cameras or smartphones, on the condition of publicly owned buildings in Victoria.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Identify and record data on the location and condition of relevant building fabrics (cladding, walls, floor coverings, ceilings).
  • Provide thorough and accurate data capture, ensuring data is upload as directed to minimise risk of data loss.
  • Capture clear images of defects, hazards, assets, and apply correct condition rating.
  • Actively engage with the team to maintain accuracy and verify data capture quality.
Ideally you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience with defect or condition inspections/data capture projects across large commercial buildings or multisite projects.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle, a valid Australian driver's license, and willingness to travel.
  • A current Employee Working with Children Check.
  • Proficient with the use and basic troubleshooting of smartphones, laptops, tablets and cameras.
  • Professional demeanor and the capability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
