About the Role
As a Building Assessor, you’ll be part of a dynamic team conducting on-site assessments across metro and regional Victoria. From hospitals and universities to government buildings and correctional facilities, you’ll use cutting-edge tools like tablets, 3D imaging, thermal cameras, and drones to collect and record asset data.
Apprentices or recent graduates with relevant exposure are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and document mechanical/electrical systems, fixtures, and building fabrics (e.g. cladding, flooring, ceilings).
• Apply a high level of attention detail and consistency with data capture to ensure asset data integrity is maintained.
• Prepare detailed reports when required.
• Collaborate with the team to verify and maintain data quality.

• Experience with mechanical/electrical building services or ESM in commercial, industrial, or healthcare settings.
• A reliable vehicle and valid Victorian driver’s licence.
• Employee Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain), National Police Check, White Card, and proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Tech-savvy with smartphones, tablets, laptops, and cameras.
• Physically fit and comfortable working on large sites and being on your feet.
