Our client is a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy delivering projects across the full project life cycle, from concept and detailed design through to construction and commissioning. Due to continued project wins and a strong pipeline, they are seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their expanding team.
This role is ideal for an engineer with a few years of experience who is looking to accelerate their technical development and career progression in a supportive consulting environment.
About the role:
You will contribute to the design and delivery of subdivision and civil infrastructure projects across the built environment sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and delivery of Civil Engineering solutions for Subdivision and Infrastructure projects
- Preparation of detailed road, drainage, subdivision and utilities design using 12D and AutocAD
- Managing project time lines, budgets, stakeholder relationships and liaising with internal teams to ensure delivery
- Working with councils, government authorities, and utilities providers to obtain approvals
- supporting construction phase activity, including site inspection and compliance checks
- Working autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Assisting with reports, pricing, tenders and bids when required
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience in Subdivision, Land development and/or road infrastructure
- Proficiency in 12D and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of local council requirements and Australian Engineering standards
- Excellent written and verbal skills - for report writing and internal/external communications
- Aptitude to problem solve and be someone who takes initiative
- Experience with site inspection and construction supervision is highly regarded
