This privately owned engineering consultancy has over 40 years of experience and has built a strong reputation across South East Queensland by doing things differently. Their success has been driven by a focus on long-term relationships, quality delivery, and genuine investment in their people.
The Gold Coast team is continuing to grow, supported by a solid pipeline of work across urban development and civil infrastructure. It’s a business where leadership is hands-on, decisions are made locally, and individuals are given the trust to make an impact.
You’ll be joining a team that values autonomy, collaboration, and practical engineering. While backed by a broader network, the office maintains a close-knit, down-to-earth environment.
What you will be doing
You’ll contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across the Gold Coast and wider SEQ region, with exposure to:
- Residential developments and masterplanned communities
- Transport infrastructure, including roads and associated works
- Civil works supporting education, aged care and commercial developments
- Stormwater design, flood analysis and WSUD initiatives
- Project delivery activities, including contract administration and construction-phase support
You’re a developing civil engineer with a solid technical foundation, ready to step into greater responsibility and broaden your involvement across projects.
With a few years of experience behind you, you’re confident delivering design work across land development or infrastructure projects, and you’ve started to build an understanding of how projects are managed and delivered, not just designed.
You'll likely bring:
- A recognised qualification in Civil Engineering
- Around 3+ years of experience working within an Australian consulting environment
- Practical exposure to civil design, with some involvement in project coordination or delivery
- Familiarity with local standards, approvals processes, and working with councils or service authorities across SEQ
- Confidence using industry design softwares 12D and AutoCAD
- Takes ownership of your work and can manage your time across multiple priorities
- Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Works well within a team but doesn’t need constant direction
- Is motivated to keep developing, whether that’s stepping into project responsibility or working towards professional accreditation (RPEQ, CPEng or similar)
If you're a Civil Engineer ready to move into a dynamic and fulfilling career on the Gold Coast, we would like to get in touch and hear from you.
