They are currently seeking an Instrumentation & Control Engineer for a long-term contract role working within their engineering team based in the Sutherland Shire.
Duties include:
- Supporting upgrades to automation and control systems across operational facilities.
- Preparing technical documentation including functional descriptions and design inputs for control system projects.
- Supporting PLC and SCADA configuration and control system design activities.
- Coordinating electrical panel builds and hardware integration.
- Preparing installation and commissioning plans.
- Supporting installation and commissioning activities onsite.
- Working closely with engineers, project managers and other technical teams to deliver automation upgrades.
- Experience working in instrumentation and control, automation or control systems engineering.
- Hands-on experience working with PLC and SCADA based control systems.
- Experience supporting automation or control system projects within industrial or process environments.
- The ability to work autonomously and contribute within a small engineering team.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
