This role would suit an organised and proactive events professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being involved in the processes of bringing events to life from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver in-house events from concept to completion, ensuring smooth planning, execution and follow-up.
- Manage event logistics including venue coordination, catering, equipment, registrations, scheduling and supplier liaison.
- Develop event timelines, run sheets and detailed project plans to ensure seamless delivery.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to understand event objectives and deliver events aligned with organisational goals.
- Assist with budgets, invoices and procurement processes where required.
- Coordinate event communications including invitations, attendee management and briefing materials.
- Provide on-site event management assistance, ensuring events run smoothly and any issues are resolved quickly.
- Conduct post-event reviews and reporting to support continuous improvement.
- Proven experience co-ordinating in-house events from concept through to completion.
- Able to work autonomously and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage tight turnarounds and competing deadlines.
- Forward-thinking and proactive, anticipating needs and identifying solutions early.
- Calm under pressure, while maintaining a positive, collaborative approach and enjoying the process of delivering successful events.
- An Australian citizen at time of applying and about to obtain and hold a Baseline Security Clearance.
- At least 3 years experience within a similar role.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver outcomes.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to pivot when priorities change.
- Solutions-focused and resourceful.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A team player who brings energy, enthusiasm and a sense of fun to the role.
- Competent on MS Office suite.
