Our client is a global manufacturer of technology products used all over the world, with own sales and service companies directly on location where their customers are based.
 
A rare opportunity has arisen for an HR Intern  / Graduate to join the Melbourne based team – to support Head of HR as required on new projects.
 
ROLE SYNOPSIS
The HR Intern / Graduate enables efficient HR delivery by providing high‑quality administrative support, accurate record‑keeping, and smooth coordination of daily processes and projects—enhancing HR outcomes and the employee experience.
 
EXPERIENCE:

  • Exposure working as an HR Graduate / Intern / Assistant / Administrator / Coordinator, or equivalent
  • Knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with HRIS and ATS software is a plus

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Process HR documents and ensure timely updates to all HR systems.
  • Manage and maintain the HRIS (ConnX / Success Factors) including identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Respond to employee and manager enquiries related to system navigation, forms, and HR policy interpretation.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team including document management, system updates (e.g. TC Manager), tracking key dates, and producing employee change letters and contracts.
  • Track probation and performance appraisal deadlines and liaise with managers to ensure timely completion.
Recruitment Support
  • Support the Recruitment Partner with various recruitment activities as part of hiring new employees, as required, e.g. drafting and posting job advertisements, short-listing applications, conducting phone interviews.
  • Generate and distribute employee contracts and onboarding documentation via Adobe Sign,  including amendments to letters or contracts.
  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and offboarding activities, including new starter packs, induction activities, and exit interviews and documentation.
  • Set up new employees on ConnX / SuccessFactors, and TC Manager.
Projects
  • Provide support as required on HR projects as required by the Head of HR
  • Health, Safety, Environment & Quality (HSEQ)
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety-first culture, complying with all OH&S standards and Dräger's Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Actively contribute to a safe and healthy workplace, adhering to all relevant regulatory and internal safety protocols.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar position
