ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator will plays a key role in supporting the organisation’s marketing efforts by coordinating and executing daily marketing activities across digital and print platforms. This position is responsible for creating engaging content, optimising marketing campaigns, and producing marketing collateral that aligns with strategic goals.
The role involves data analysis, reporting, and using insights to enhance campaign effectiveness. The Marketing and
Communications Coordinator also collaborates closely with internal teams, National, and external stakeholders, ensuring consistency in messaging and brand identity. With a focus on efficiency, creativity, and attention to detail, this role contributes to brand presence and member engagement.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary qualifications in the Marketing and Communications field, or a combination of relevant experience and education/training.
- Willingness to embrace and utilise various tools and technologies to enhance operational effectiveness
- Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated capacity to effectively collaborate with a range of stakeholders and to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills including written and verbal with a high level of proficiency in English
- Confidence and the capacity to work with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in the Adobe Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Experienced in managing social media platofrms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) and using scheduling tools such as Metricool
- Demonstrated expertise in email automation tools such as Higher Logic
- Competence user of CRM systems, experience with IMIS is desirable
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite of programs
- Ability to use project management tools such as Motion or Asana
