Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Designer or Product Design professional who enjoys creating practical, real-world solutions?
Based in Meadowbrook, you'll become part of a close-knit Queensland team whilst collaborating with experienced colleagues across a larger national operation. With exposure to product development, manufacturing, fabrication and project delivery, this role offers far more variety than a traditional design office position.
Working closely with Project Managers and technical teams, you'll play an important role in the design, development and delivery of a broad range of engineered products and solutions. Projects span areas including:
- Water management systems
- Vacuum drainage systems
- Fabricated equipment and assemblies
- Commercial plumbing products
- Custom-designed industrial solutions
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies and components using Autodesk Inventor.
- Produce detailed engineering and workshop-ready fabrication drawings.
- Assist with product development and design improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications and supporting information.
- Work closely with Project Managers to deliver practical and commercially viable solutions.
- Liaise with manufacturing and operational teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings and technical discussions.
- Assist with site inspections and commissioning activities when required.

- Degree qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience using Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Revit or similar CAD platforms.
- Strong 3D modelling and technical drawing capability.
- Experience producing fabrication or manufacturing drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- A practical and collaborative approach to engineering and design.
