PROCUREMENT DELIVERY COORDINATOR

Our client is a global Renewable Energy leader, manufacturer of oil and lubricants for the automotive and industrial applications industries.
 
A rare opportunity has arisen for a  PROCUREMENT DELIVERY COORDINATOR to join the team based at the  Perth Kwinana site – The Procurement Delivery Coordinator will provide end-to-end support for sourcing, contracting, commercial coordination, and procurement administration across maintenance and project activities.
The role ensures safe, compliant, and timely procurement outcomes by coordinating tendering, evaluation, negotiation support, contract finalisation, and day-to-day commercial activities.
 
The role also contributes to project coordination, performance reporting, analytics, and maintaining accurate procurement databases and logistics records to ensure audit-ready documentation.
 
The position collaborates closely with Operations, Technical Services, Projects, HSE&C, and external stakeholders, requiring strong commercial judgement and effective cross-functional communication.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support end‑to‑end sourcing and contracting activities, including tender development, evaluations, negotiation support, and finalisation
  • Interpret contract terms and provide commercial input to support negotiation and decision‑making
  • Draft and review procurement proposals, evaluation summaries, and commercial recommendations
  • Execute day‑to‑day procurement administration to meet operational and project requirements
  • Maintain accurate commercial, contractual and procurement records to ensure audit‑ready documentation
  • Ensure compliance with bp’s policies, OMS requirements and relevant regulatory expectations
Team Integration
  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Technical Services, Projects, HSE&C, suppliers, and contractors to support safe, compliant, and predictable delivery
  • Develop technical and interpersonal skills required to support procurement activities effectively
  • Role‑model client’s Code of Conduct and “Who We Are” values, contributing to a culture of collaboration, excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Ensure contractor onboarding and site assurance requirements are met in alignment with procurement processes
  • Support alignment with ISO‑related documentation requirements where applicable.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Strong understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling processes, including preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (such as Maximo, ERP, Primavera, etc.) to plan, schedule, track and analyse maintenance activities
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI or other analytical platforms to interpret maintenance data and produce reports
  • Experience in developing, tracking, and presenting key performance indicators (KPIs) across maintenance portfolio
  • Experience with integrated planning processes and Long- and Short-Range Integration Schedule Processes
  • Strong in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation for maintenance activities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Knowledge of industry standards, regulatory compliance and HSE requirements related to maintenance and project planning and scheduling
  • Ability to analyse maintenance data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, law, engineering, or equivalent and relevant professional experience
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in procurement, contract management, or commercial coordination within an operating asset or heavy industry environment
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to interpret contract terms and provide commercial support and support negotiations
  • Competence in running or supporting sourcing events, evaluations, and award processes
  • Strong written communication skills with the prepare clear and accurate procurement documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and manage diverse stakeholder groups. Analytical and problem‑solving capability, with the ability to assess commercial options and propose practical solutions
  • Understanding of procurement governance, compliance expectations, and category management principles
