The opportunity:
An exciting opportunity exists for two experienced Project Managers to join a major client-side infrastructure program supporting early and enabling works across a multi-billion-dollar, long-term development.
This is an opportunity to be involved at the front end of a nationally significant program, delivering complex civil infrastructure including roads, maritime, utilities and enabling works that will underpin future large-scale expansion.
 
You’ll join a collaborative, delivery-focused environment where you will contribute directly to shaping outcomes across planning, approvals, procurement and project delivery phases.
 
About the role:
These are key client-side Project Manager positions within a major long-term infrastructure program, focused on the successful delivery of early and enabling works that support future development stages.
You will take ownership of projects across the full life-cycle, from planning and approvals through to delivery and close-out, ensuring outcomes are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Working within a broader program environment, you will manage multiple stakeholders, consultants and contractors to achieve successful project outcomes that contribute to the long-term success of the program.
Key responsibilities:
  • End-to-end Project Management, from inception to completion, within budget, meeting quality standards and in a sustainable manner.
  • Lead contract/ commercial negotiations with design and construction teams, as part of the contract execution process.
  • Scope, plan, schedule and manage projects to ensure all stages, including project evaluation, estimation, approvals, implementation, commercial negotiations, contract administration, site supervision and cost control are effectively executed.
  • Safety leadership through setting and managing safety expectations internally and externally ensuring a zero-harm culture.
About You:
You are an experienced and motivated Project Manager with a strong background in delivering complex civil or infrastructure projects, who enjoys working across multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
 
Ideally, you will bring:
  • Proven experience delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects from concept to completion
  •  Strong engineering and infrastructure project management with experience coordinating diverse teams and resources
  • Demonstrated capability in procurement and contract management with a strong focus on risk and value outcomes
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse groups
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering or related discipline essential
