A new opportunity for a Purchasing Assistant to join an international manufacturing company in a 4 month contract.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
To provide purchasing (Intercompany and Outsourced) support for the Australian business by driving continuous improvement activities in the purchasing function. Key functions of role include (but are not limited to):
- Ensuring goods are available in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to address timeframe of orders and ensuring an efficient transition from P2P process.
- Relevant experience in a Customer Service/ Supply Chain role
- SAP working knowledge, specifically as a MRP tool, P2P Process
- High level of competence in Microsoft Excel
- Comfortable in interacting with Senior Managers
- Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Purchasing or Business desired.
