Our client is a leading TGA licensed supplier and contract manufacturer in the complementary medicine industry, producing innovative and specialised products for the Australian and international markets. 
 
As part of their continued growth, they seek  the assistance of 2 suitably qualified and experienced QC Analysts  to join their Quality Control Department

The Roles

1 x QC Analyst (Finished Products)
1 x Raw Material Analyst
 
The successful candidates will work under the direction of the QC Manager and will be responsible for ensuring technical assistance / QC support is available to the Quality Department to meet production time lines whilst adhering to quality compliance standards.
 
Key responsibilities will be:
  • Perform all routine analytical testing (including raw materials, intermediates and finished products) using instrumentation such as HPLC, GC on a range of tablets and soft gel capsules.
  • Conduct equipment calibration and maintenance.
  • Investigate any deviations and OOS's according to GMP principles accordingly.
  • Review, update and check SOP’s, controlled documentation, and test procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain standards and controls for the QC department.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • BSc Chemistry or equivalent
  • Previous experience within the pharmaceutical / complementary medicine manufacturing or related environment.
  • Working knowledge of strong wet chemistry techniques, physical testing, chemical analysis, and instruments (GC, HPLC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, together with demonstrated problem solving and time management.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a GMP / GLP quality environment.
  • Positive, proactive, professional attitude.
  • Ability to build strong cross functional working relationships.

Additional Information: 

The roles are for an initial 12 week contract however may extend if there is an additional workload beyond the 12 weeks. Working Holiday Visa holders are encouraged to apply!
