Recruitment / HR Coordinator
Eagle Farm, Brisbane | Flexible Hours | $80,000 – $95,000 + Super

Join a growing, privately owned engineering group delivering critical projects across heavy industry, including power stations and mine site shutdowns across Queensland. With a strong pipeline of work and continued expansion, the business is looking to bring on a Recruitment / HR Coordinator to support workforce mobilisation and project delivery. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role working alongside an experienced Workforce Coordinator, supporting the recruitment and onboarding of skilled trades across multiple concurrent projects.

About the Role
You will work as part of a small, collaborative team, playing a key role in ensuring projects are resourced efficiently and on time. While the Workforce Coordinator focuses on scheduling and mobilisation, you will take ownership of the recruitment, coordination, and HR support that underpins it.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar and trade-based roles
  • Screen candidates and conduct initial interviews
  • Complete reference checks and compliance checks
  • Prepare and issue employment contracts and documentation
  • Coordinate onboarding and mobilisation of workers
  • Support workforce planning in line with project requirements
  • Maintain candidate pipelines for upcoming shutdowns and projects
  • Provide general HR and administrative support to the Workforce Coordinator
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs

  • Additional project-based roles such as scaffolders and commercial cleaners
About You
  • Previous experience in recruitment or HR coordination (essential)
  • Exposure to blue-collar, trade, or industrial recruitment (highly regarded)
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident communicator who can engage with site-based personnel
  • Practical, proactive, and team-oriented
