The opportunity
You’ll lead the design and delivery of subdivision, urban development, drainage and civil infrastructure projects, driving outcomes across concept, design and project execution. The role blends hands-on technical work with project oversight, client engagement and mentoring of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage civil design delivery across subdivisions, stormwater, roadworks and water/wastewater.
- Oversee timelines, budgets and technical quality across multiple concurrent projects.
- Engage directly with clients, councils and key stakeholders to advance approvals.
- Contribute to proposals, pricing and tender responses.
- Coach and guide engineers and designers to uplift capability and delivery standards.
- Support continuous improvement across systems, documentation and ISO-aligned processes.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
- 9+ years of experience in the urban development, subdivisions and civil infrastructure backgrounds
- An understanding in 12D and AutoCAD.
- Experience in stormwater design; flood modelling (TUFLOW / HEC-RAS) advantageous.
- Strong stakeholder communication, report writing and technical coordination skills.
- Knowledge of SEQ authority standards and Australian codes.
- RPEQ or on the cusp of gaining RPEQ.
