We are partnering with a global engineering consultancy delivering complex infrastructure and energy-transition projects across Australia and internationally. Their teams support developers, investors, lenders and asset owners with technical assurance and end-to-end project delivery.
About the Role
You will provide technical leadership across BESS and HV project delivery, supporting clients with independent engineering, technical due diligence, and Owner’s Engineer services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead technical reviews and design delivery across BESS, renewables and HV substations
- Deliver Technical Due Diligence (TDD) for lenders, investors and developers
- Provide Owner’s Engineer support across delivery and commissioning phases
- Review EPC/OEM designs, specifications and commissioning documentation
- Manage scope, budgets, resourcing and technical risk on projects
- Mentor engineers and contribute to proposals and client engagement
To be considered, you will ideally have:
- Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering
- RPEV registration and/or CPEng status (Engineers Australia)
- Extensive experience across utility-scale BESS, renewables, HV substations or power infrastructure
- Proven TDD and/or Owner’s Engineer delivery background
- Strong primary electrical design knowledge and confidence leading complex technical conversations
- Excellent technical reporting and stakeholder communication skills
- High-impact work across major renewable energy projects
- Exposure to TDD and independent engineering engagements
