Senior Structural Engineer – Brisbane
Are you ready for your next pinnacle career move? McClure Civil Management (MCM), in partnership with the Bayside Group, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their first Queensland-based team and play a key role in expanding their footprint across South-East Queensland.
MCM is a down-to-earth, highly respected consultancy with three core divisions – Design, Consulting, and Construction – known for delivering exceptional projects from bespoke residential and eco-friendly housing to commercial facilities, bridges, and small-span infrastructure. What you’ll do:
- Lead structural engineering projects, including calculations, modelling, drafting, and site inspections.
- Act as a mentor and technical peer within a collaborative, growing team.
- Contribute to expanding MCM’s brand and capabilities in Queensland.
- Work across diverse projects, including light-to-medium commercial structures, small infrastructure, and architectural residential projects.
- Travel as required across SEQ (Gold Coast to Sunshine Coast).
- Bachelor’s in Civil or Structural Engineering (RPEQ registration or willingness to obtain).
- 5–10 years’ experience in structural engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; REVIT, Civil 3D / 12D a plus.
- Strong technical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Full, un-restricted Australian Work Rights, and local experience.
