This successful applicant will proactively identify sales opportunities to optimise sales growth whilst providing support to the wholesale network as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
- Manage opportunities to source, develop and maintain relationships with network throughout VIC/SA/TAS regions.
- Identify new sales B2B opportunities whilst maintaining customer information, notes and activities in CRM tool.
- Report to leadership on KPI’s
- Maintain a current, working knowledge of all company products and brands.
- Keep the wholesale network up to date with current promotions.
- Provide product and sales training to the wholesale network.
- Respond to wholesale customer and installer inquiries by phone, online chat support, and email.
- Work directly with wholesale network to take orders and provide product, quote and stock information where required.
- Ensure all information relating to orders is entered into relevant systems accurately.
- Set up new customers in our systems.
- Manage all inquiries with empathy and with a high level of attention to detail.
- Assist wholesale customers with delivery of products and any logistics issues.
- Strong background in sales and business development, with demonstrated success managing multi-state territories and driving revenue growth within the automotive and 4WD industry.
- Experience in building and maintaining strategic relationships with key accounts, wholesalers, and retail partners, coupled with the ability to identify and capitalise on new market opportunities.
- A solid understanding of the 4WD aftermarket and accessory space, combined with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, is also preferred.
- Regular travel, both interstate and regional will be a requirement.
