This role is well-suited to a technically capable Structural Engineer with 2–5 years’ consulting experience who is ready to step up, deepen technical capability, and work alongside respected senior engineers on some of Queensland’s most recognisable developments.
The Opportunity
You will join a structural team recognised for its technical rigour, delivery of complex projects, and consistent design quality. Due to a strong project pipeline and continued business growth, the team is expanding and seeking engineers who can support senior staff across design, coordination, and site delivery.
This is a genuine development role, which is designed to broaden your exposure, sharpen your judgement, and build the foundations of a long-term structural engineering career.
Key Responsibilities
- Structural analysis and design of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete buildings
- Design of key structural elements including foundations, slabs, columns, and walls
- Participation in site inspections and technical responses to RFIs
- Coordination with architects, services engineers, and internal delivery teams
- Contribution to client and consultant meetings alongside senior engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering(Master’s in Structural Engineering highly regarded)
- 2–5 years’ experience in a structural consulting environment delivering multi-storey buildings
- Working knowledge of Australian Standards(AS3600, AS/NZS 1170 series, NCC)
- Experience with RAM Concept and RAPT preferred; ETABS highly advantageous
- Solid understanding of RC and PT slab design
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines
- Experience coordinating with drafting and Revit teams
- Strong engineering fundamentals, sound judgement, and a willingness to learn
