Supply Chain Manager | Senior Leadership Opportunity
Lead the next phase of growth for an Australian engineering and manufacturing business where your ideas, leadership and commercial thinking will genuinely make a difference.
Growth creates opportunity. The right leadership creates momentum.
We're partnering with a highly respected Australian engineering and manufacturing business entering an exciting new phase of growth and transformation. As demand continues to increase, the business is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to strengthen operational capability, optimise performance and help shape the future of the organisation. Reporting directly to the Executive General Manager and forming part of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll have the opportunity to influence business decisions, challenge the status quo, and build scalable systems that support continued growth.
This is a role for someone who enjoys improving, building, and leading - not simply maintaining. You'll provide strategic leadership across the entire supply chain, ensuring products, people and processes are aligned to deliver outstanding customer outcomes while supporting commercial success. Your responsibilities will span procurement, production planning, inventory, warehousing, logistics, supplier performance, ERP governance, and continuous improvement, while partnering closely with Engineering, Finance, Sales and Operations. Rather than inheriting a large corporate structure, you'll join a collaborative leadership team where your contribution will be visible, valued and genuinely influential.
You'll be someone who naturally asks:
- How can we do this better? Where can we improve efficiency?
- How can we strengthen supplier relationships? How do we improve inventory without impacting service?
- How can our systems better support growth?
The ideal candidate will possess;:
- Experience within engineering, industrial manufacturing, OEM, scientific, instrumentation or similarly technical environments.
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to contribute to supplier negotiations and operational decision-making.
- Well-developed ERP knowledge and an appreciation for disciplined processes, governance and data integrity.
- A track record of improving operational performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
- A collaborative leadership style that develops people, builds trust and brings teams together.
A generous remuneration package, including superannuation and a company bonus program, will be offered to attract an outstanding candidate. Curious? Please email your CV and capability statement to Michelle Murphy via mmurphy@baysidegroup.com.au
