Our client is a specialist traffic engineering and transport planning consultancy with 60 staff and 15 years of organic growth. Our client are expanding their capability in Brisbane and are looking for a capable mid-level engineer to join their Brisbane team.

THE OPPORTUNITY
In this role, you will:
- Deliver a range of traffic engineering and transport planning projects across South East Queensland
- Work alongside and be mentored by our senior Queensland lead and Business Directors
- Gain exposure across multiple service areas and project types
- Contribute to a growing, high-performing team in a specialist firm
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a motivated, technically capable professional ready to grow their career in a specialist environment. You will have:
- 3–12 years of experience in the Australian traffic engineering and/or transport planning industry
- Solid technical skills and a willingness to learn and take ownership of your work
- Experience in one or more of our three core service areas (see below)
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a broader team
- Australian project experience is essential. BUSINESS SERVICE AREAS
- Transport Planning — development approvals, strategic and master planning, expert witness
- Traffic Engineering & Design — traffic engineering analysis, design, modelling, road safety audits
- Infrastructure & Construction — traffic management for infrastructure and building projects
Salary is dependent on experience and seniority:
Traffic Engineer
3–6 years $90,000 – $100,000
5–9 years $100,000 – $130,000
8–12 years $130,000 – $160,000
