A new opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD Engineer to join a global leader in the design, engineering, development and marketing of performance vehicles.  
The successful applicant will be responsible for designing components that meet the specifications set out by the Design Responsible Engineer (DRE). These specifications should be laid out on a Drawing Request Form (DRF).
Primary purpose is to lead the development and review of complex packaging studies, criteria, dynamic packaging, driver & tool clearance/access, 3D math models, jigs & fixtures, sub-assemblies, 2D drawings, gaps & margins drawings, instruction drawings, meet Australian Design Regulations (ADR) requirements and ensure Installation Assemblies (IA’s) in the Vehicle Assembly Structure’s (VAS) are always up to date.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Min Advanced Diploma (24 subjects/3-year Degree-Cert VII) or approved equivalent qualification related to the automotive industry.
• Siemens NX software experience.
• Must be familiar with automotive engineering design and associated processes.
• Must have operated in a CAD engineering or in a design related role for 5 years. Or must have 5 years CAD experience working in an automotive, aircraft or allied industry.
