Role Overview:
As Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of various project contracts and be a key point of contact for contractors and consultants. Overseeing the full life-cycle of major projects, you will bring a high level of professionalism and experience with negotiating contract deliverables, monitoring KPI’s, and ensuring works are carried out in a safe and compliant manner.

Operating from their modern office in Melbourne, they oversee a range of capital works & remediation projects, and maintain a range of transport and civil infrastructure, drainage, and some commercial/industrial buildings.

You have a proven track record delivering multiple projects from concept to completion on brownfield sites. Backed by your diverse experience with projects across the civil infrastructure, marine, and building construction spaces, you can manage diverse projects, create and present business cases, manage contracts and contractors, and engage with a wide range of professionals to ensure the delivery of efficient, effective, and sustainable project management services.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- End-to-end Project Management of projects, from inception to completion, within budget, meeting quality standards and in a sustainable manner.
- Lead contract/commercial negotiations with design and construction teams, as part of the contract execution process.
- Scope, plan, schedule and manage projects to ensure all stages, including project evaluation, estimation, Board approvals, implementation, legal negotiations, contract administration, site supervision and cost control are effectively executed.
- Safety leadership through setting and managing safety expectations internally and externally.
- Demonstrated expertise in delivering multi-disciplined buildings, demolition, civil & marine infrastructure projects.
- Extensive experience in engineering project management, while coordinating and managing resources for the successful delivery.
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts for both procurement and provision of engineering, construction and demolition services with a focus on risk management and value exchange.
- Exceptional interpersonal skill for effective communication with all relevant internal and external stakeholders and management.
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
